Familarisation of Microsoft 365 Home Page

When you first log in to Microsoft 365 there are a few key areas to note:

Your Microsoft 365 Account Area

In the top right hand corner you should your initials, clicking on this will allow you to view your Microsoft 365 account.

This area is where you are able to manage your password, security information, devices that are linked to your account etc

Quick Access

This area in the bottom half of your home page will give you a view of the documents you've opened or have been shared with you last - this is for quick access.

Commonly Used Apps

Down the left hand side you will see icons of the most commonly used applications:

Outlook (for emails)
Teams (for chat and collaboration)
Word (for word processing)
Excel (for spreadsheets ad formulas)
Powerpoint (for presentations)

Note: At this point access to these applications is web based (as you would use gmail, docs, and sheets in google).

The App Launcher

In the top left hand corner you will see the following icon

This icon will allow you to view all the applications available within your Microsoft 365 license.
