Review Drive Data Transfer from Google to Microsoft
Behind the scenes of the migration we have automated the migration of your shared google drives and personal google drives and documents.
Shared Google Drives are migrated to Microsoft SharePoint and Personal Google Drives and Documents have been migrated to folder with your new Microsoft OneDrive called "My Google Files"
First, lets check your personal drive
Step 1: Navigate to OneDrive
Down the left hand side of your Microsoft 365 home page you will see an icon that says Apps

Click on this icon and select OneDrive from the apps available

Step 2: OneDrive
Onedrive will then launch and you should see a icon call my files down the left hand side

Step 3: My Google Files
You should then be presented with a folder called "My Google Files"

Step 4: Review Files
If you now open this file you see should see all the folders and documents that were in your Personal Google Drives
Note: your files will have been converted from the google file type to a Microsoft file type (eg: Docs will now be saved as word docs, Sheets will now be saved and Excel docs). For the most part the formatting should have copied over but there may be some instance where the formatting may need a little manual intervention.
Any files with google links in will also need updating with the equivalent new microsoft links
Now, lets check your shared drives
Step 1: Navigate to Sharepoint
Down the left hand side of your Microsoft 365 home page you will see an icon that says Apps

Click on this icon and select Sharepoint from the apps available

Step 2: Sharepoint
Sharepoint will then launch and you should see a page with all your shared sites on (the equivalent of your shared drives in google).
Step 3: Review Sites
If you click on a shared site the will open a page where you can view the site home page
On each sites home page you will see a menu bar across the top that shows the following headings:

The most important tab for you initially will be the Documents tab.
The Documents tab will have the folders and documents that have been migrated over from Google
Below are descriptions of the other options that you should review later
Pages won't have anything in yet but can be customised along with the home page so that essentially your Sharepoint site is its own mini site with its own pages for topics (eg: many sharepoint sites have pages for each folder area).
Site Contents lists the contents of your Sharepoint site and the edit option will only be available for the Sharepoint site owner (this should have been transferred over from Google based on the permissions that were set up).
