Setting An Out Of Office Up In Outlook - In Browser
Setting up out-of-office replies in Outlook helps keep your contacts informed and manages expectations while you're away from work.
To set your out of office up whilst using the standalone app
(see second guide if you want to set this up in the browser)
Step 1: Outlook browser login
Open your web browser and go to Microsoft 365, sign in and select your outlook icon.
Click on the Gear Icon: In the top-right corner, click on the gear icon to open the settings menu.
Select "Automatic replies" from the drop down
Step 2: Enable out of office
Turn on Automatic Replies by toggling the switch to enable automatic replies.
Step 3: Add the duration of your our of office
You will then need to add the dates you are off to and from
You will also get some other options you can choose from and should you select to decline meetings during this period you will be presented with a list of meetings should there be any you decide you want to keep in.

And select to send the auto replies to contacts outside of our organisation also.

Step 4: Finally choose your out of office message from one of the below templates
Out of office message template:

I’ll be back in the office on [DATE], so if your email can’t wait then please drop [NAME] an email at [WORK EMAIL ADDRESS] (or give them a call on [WORK PHONE NUMBER]) and they will be able to help you.
OR
I’ll be back in the office on [DATE], so if you need support from the team please visit www.aerocloud.support to raise a support request and they will be able to help you.
Out of office template – travelling for work:
(Update the first line and delete two of the highlighted lines below keeping the one most relevant to your role)
Thanks for your email, I’m travelling with work / at a conference / at an all day event at the moment which means there might be a delay in getting back to you.
